Description
Access MySQL server or database directly from Delphi and Kylix.
MySQL 3.x-5.x VCL for Delphi 5-7/9(2005) and Kylix 1-3 supports three access methods; ClientLibrary, Embedded or Direct TCP/IP or Piping access to MySQL. MyComponents accesses your MySQL servers/database directly, without any need for middle tier layers like BDE / ODBC / ADO or dbExpress with their inherent limitations. It can use any of three methods to access your servers, either the standard method using the MySQL client library, or directly access to your database using the embedded MySQL server or using only TCP/IP directly to the MySQL server, freeing your application of additional distribution of client libraries. Excellent support available via email (<24hr response times) and a customer forum. Now with new MySQL 4.1+ secure authentication.
